My Sacred Energy

Too often we are scared, scared of what we might not be able to do, scared of what people might think if we tried, we let our fears stand in the way of our hopes. Why? There's really no time to be afraid. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Everything!” ~ unknown

Love

Love has no other desire but to fulfill itself. To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night. To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving.

Live in the Present Moment

The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, not to worry about the future, or not to anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly. ~ Buddha

Another Sleepless Night and Manic Day

Couldn't sleep at all last night so I finally got back up and started cleaning and rearranging things.... again. I worked on several art projects too. Just couldn't stay  focused on any one thing for very long but did manage to get a lot accomplished in spite of myself.
Of course the dogs were not happy with me at all for breaking their routine. They have such expressive faces. I wish I could understand what they are really thinking.  But then maybe I really don't want to know either.
Weekends are so weird for me now. Don't really want to hang out with our "couple" friends and be the "odd " person tagging along. What single friends I do have are way to young for me to be hanging out with and I just can't see myself hanging out at a bar waiting for some creep to hit on me. Just thinking about it makes me shudder.
Sure will be glad when Spring gets here and I can start working outside again.

Tears

Tears have a wisdom all their own. They come when a person has relaxed enough to let go and to work through his sorrow. They are the natural bleeding of an emotional wound, carrying the poison out of the system. Here lies the road to recovery. ~ F. Alexander Magoun ♥

I did my Best but it wasn't enough.

He was the best thing to happen to me. I loved him with all of my heart even when I didn't know I did.  I did some things that hurt him...more than I realized at the time. But even then I loved him and felt I was losing him and didn't know what to do or say.
I spent years trying to show him and prove to him that he was number one. It wasn't enough...never enough. Now the pain is more than I can bare. Do I regret loving him so much? NEVER!!!!! He made me happy for so long and gave me more than anyone ever has or ever could . For that I am thankful and will take those blessing to my grave with me. I can truly say that I have loved wholly and completely and have been loved that way in return. Which is more than what a lot of people can say.  I only wish that I been smarter and better so thing could have turned out different.

If You Bring Love

If You Bring Love
by~ Joseph Campbell

At a certain moment in Nietzsche's life, the idea came to him of what he called 'the love of your fate.' Whatever your fate is, whatever the heck happens, you say, "This is what I need." It may look like a wreck, but go at it as though it were an opportunity, a challenge.

If you bring love to that moment - not discouragement - you will find the strength is there. Any disaster that you can survive is an improvement in your character, your stature, and your life. What a privilege! This is when the spontaneity of your own nature will have a chance to flow. Then, when looking back at your life, you will see that the moments which seemed to be great failures followed by wreckage were the incidents that shaped the life you have now. You’ll see that this is really true.

Nothing can happen to you that is not positive. Even though it looks and feels at the moment like a negative crisis, it is not.

Moments

If you are waiting for anything in order to live and love without holding back, then you suffer. Every moment is the most important moment of your life. No future time is better than now to let down your guard and love.

"My importance..."

"My importance to the world is relatively small. On the other hand, my importance to myself is tremendous. I am all I have to work with, to play with, to suffer and to enjoy. It is not the eyes of others that I am wary of, but of my own. I do not intend to let myself down more than I can possibly help, and I find that the fewer illusions I have about myself or the world around me, the better company I am for myself."~ Noel Coward

I could only Wish.......

On the Law of Attraction:

Remember that your thoughts are the primary cause of everything. So when you
think a sustained thought it is immediately sent out into the Universe. That thought
magnetically attaches itself to the like frequency, and then within seconds sends
the reading of that frequency back to you through your feelings. Put another way,
your feelings are communication back to you from the Universe, telling you what
frequency you are currently on. Your feelings are your frequency feedback mechanism!

Decide what you want. Believe you can have it. Believe you deserve it
and believe it's possible for you. And then close your eyes every day for
several minutes, and visualize having what you already want, feeling the
feelings of already having it. Come out of that and focus on what you're
grateful for already, and really enjoy it. Then go into your day and release
it to the Universe and trust that the Universe will figure out how to manifest it.

Jack Canfield.

There comes a time.......

There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama & people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. So, love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of LIFE...Getting ...back up is LIVING ~

Love

You will find as you look back upon your life that the moments when you have truly lived are the moments when you have done things in the spirit of love. ~ Henry Drummond

Something I need to remember EVERY minute of EVERY day!

Peace

"May today there be peace within. May you trust that you are exactly
where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities
that are born of faith in yourself and others. May you use the gifts
that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content with yourself just the way you are. Let this
knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to
sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us."

He came by the house today.... I cried this time

I couldn't help it. I fought the tears but they wouldn't stay away. My heart still lurches when I see him. I didn't fall completely apart but that giant hole in my chest opened back up and pain rushed in again.
He came to bring food for the dogs and pick up things he had forgotten when he left.  We talked about his mother and how the end is very near now..probably only days away. Everything we had together is coming to end and soon there won't be anything left at all.

One to remember.

We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us. The old skin has to be shed before the new one can come. ~ Joseph Campbell
