Just a thought
Growing up were you lucky enough to have one of those friends that is so close they were like an extension of yourself? Like the two of you had two sets of parents and two homes to live in.
You did everything together and knew what the other was thinking before they spoke a word.
Always ready for an adventure'
I was lucky enough to have that friend!
Then adulthood arrived and we slowly drifted apart. So gradual I didn't even notice until one day I realized there was a whole in my heart where that friendship used to live. I had let other things and people distract me and I lost something very precious . No one else in my life ever came close to filling that hole. Years and miles separate us now.
I miss my friend.
