500th Post and Give Away


Back in November of 2010 when I started this blog I had no idea how much it would change my life!
My first posts were all about the incredible pain and emotional suffering I was going through.
A friend delicately pointed out that in order to heal I was going to have to stop dwelling on the negative aspects of my life and look for positive things to write about. 
So I looked for a positive quote to post and that started my journey of positive thinking. 
It was  a roller coaster ride for sure those first few months but things eventually evened out and my life fell back into place. 
I continued to post positive quotes and pictures because we all need a reminder now and then....and hopefully the words will help someone else who needs it at that moment. 

So in honor of the power of the printed words here. I'm hosting a give away :0) 
I will be giving the "Power to End"  quote away to some lucky winner who will also get to chose one of my original pieces of art too.

    Oh Carol, I didn't know what made you start this blog, and I've only gone back to the beginning now. So happy for you that you found your way and that this blog helped you start with positive thinking. I really enjoy reading your quotes, and you're right: words can be powerful and healing, and you never know who's going to need it today. Your give-away looks wonderful btw!

    Ok I'm a few days late getting back to this! I had totally forgotten that it was inventory week where I work and if you know anything about retail you understand how crazy the week can be. All is done now so I had my 6 year old neighbor draw a name and the winner is...ta..ta...ta...ta.... "TUFA GIRL"!!!!!!! I'm so excited you won Cindy!!! I'll be emailing you ♥
